We've recently implemented live session tracking for our mobile RPG, and the insights have been eye-opening. Being able to see exactly where players are struggling, when they drop off, and what features they engage with most - all in real-time - has transformed how we approach game balancing and content updates. However, we're still figuring out the best ways to aggregate this data without overwhelming our analytics team. For instance, should we be tracking every single player action, or is sampling more practical? How do you balance the granularity of data collection with system performance? Also, what key metrics do you prioritize when analyzing live sessions - time-to-first-purchase, level completion rates, social feature adoption? Would love to hear your approaches to live session analytics and what KPIs have proven most valuable for your teams!
